Horouta Pharmacy is an independent pharmacy located at the De Lautour Road shopping complex, next to De Lautour Medical centre. We provide friendly & professional advice and are open Mon-Fri 9:0am to 5:00pm.
 

Pharmacy owners and newly weds Kevin Pewhairangi and Kasey Brown have a wealth of knowledge and pharmacy experience gained from working locally in Gisborne and in Wellington.

Kevin is a born & raised 'coastie' who hails from Te whanau a Ruataupare - Tokomaru Bay and is the first Maori Pharmacist to own a pharmacy here in Te Tairawhiti.

Kasey Brown is a proud Samoan pharmacist who hails from Wellington. She specializes in clinical pharmacy and works part time at the hospital pharmacy at Hauora Tairawhiti.

Kevin and Kasey have three children, Mikaele, Mataio and Luka. All boys!

With that, family was the main driver in re-establishing a pharmacy at De Lautour road. Understanding that pharmacy access is important to ensure that medical care and treatment is followed through after seeing your doctor.

We are a whanau/fanau pharmacy and are here to to improve access and offer free professional health care and advice to customers.
